Fishing:
Folly Beach offers a wide variety of fishing. surf fishing, river fishing, pier fishing, and deep-sea sport fishing is great year-round
because of the mild temperatures. Many more fish are caught during the warmer months. Some of the most common catches
around Folly Island are the spotted sea trout, sheepshead, black drum, spanish mackerel, king mackerel, bluefish, whiting,
pompano, drum, flounder and perch. The Florida pompano is the most prized catch among the locals, because of its fierce fight
and great taste.
